Holiday Hustle Weekend Edition

I’m on my way to Sacramento, CA so I can run the California Intl Marathon on Sunday.  And since I’ll kind of be out of pocket I’m posting Saturday and Sunday’s Holiday Hustle Challenge Workouts today.

holiday-hustle-challengeDay 3 – Total Body Blast (Saturday 12/3)

25 repetitions of each (1 or 2 times through)

  • Jumping Jacks
  • Squats
  • Pushups
  • PLUS a 30 second plank

Day 4 – Take the Long(er) Road (Sunday 12/4)

Hey, not everyone is game to do a marathon but no matter what you like to do, we can always push ourselves a bit harder.   So today’s workout is easy.  Add 10 extra minutes of cardio to what you normally or have planned to do. 

And if you hadn’t planned on working out?  Go for a walk.  Or a run.  Or lip sync and dance to the Hamilton Soundtrack.  “Helpless” is a great song to move with.

And if you are doing a class at the Y or are checking out a Spin class?  Head to the cardio room and hop on a bike, treadmill or rower for 10 minutes.
